About Agostina Vietti
Argentinian freeride skier from San Martin de los Andes, Patagonia, a former ski racer (stopped racing at 15) whose older brother Matias first got her into freeride after his own injuries ended his dream of making the tour. Became the first Argentinian woman to qualify for the FWT (via a 2nd place at the 2025 A-Basin Challenger Series), then in just her second FWT event won the 2026 Val Thorens Pro outright - the first Argentinian ever, of any gender, to win a Tour event.
Became the first Argentinian woman to qualify for the Freeride World Tour after finishing 2nd at the A-Basin Challenger Series in April 2025. In only her second FWT event, at Val Thorens in January 2026, she won outright — the first Argentinian woman to win on the Freeride World Tour.
